What is the Ambassador Program?
It’s an important part of ensuring that new residents in our retirement community feel welcome from the moment they step in the door. When someone moves in at Queens Avenue Retirement Residence, we assign them a Resident Ambassador. The Ambassador takes them under their wing and shows them all the important facilities and services that our Oakville senior residence has to offer. They will:
- Help familiarize the new resident with the residence itself, so they know where everything is and what the usual routines are.
- Show them all the activity options.
- Invite the new resident to accompany them for coffee, to activities, as well as introducing them to new friends along the way.
